Available in 2-nozzle, 3-nozzle and 4-nozzle configurations, compatible with balloon envelopes of different volumes.
Key component materials:
- Nozzles: adopte 310S stainless steel (temperature resistance up to 1150℃);
- Coils: adopte 316L stainless steel (corrosion resistance and thermal fatigue resistance).
Equipped with a pulley labor-saving system; the opening pull force of the top parachute complies with airworthiness standards.
Parameter Table
| Model | Nozzle Quantity | Max Fuel Consumption | Max Power (BTU/min) | Applicable Envelope Volume (m³) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| BURN-2 | 2 | 10 kg/min | 438,000 | 1800-4000 |
| BURN-3 | 3 | 15 kg/min | 658,000 | 4000-8000 |
| BURN-4 | 4 | 20 kg/min | 877,000 | 6000-12000 |
Note: The measured data of a single nozzle is 5 kg/min propane consumption, corresponding to 219,000 BTU/min.
Thermal power is calculated based on propane calorific value of 19,900 BTU/lb (46.4 MJ/kg).
Actual performance shall be affected by valve opening, fuel pressure and ambient temperature.
Parameter Description
- Propane Consumption: Maximum mass flow rate when the main valve is fully open, unit: kilogram per minute (kg/min).
- Thermal Power: Heat power released by complete combustion of propane, unit: British Thermal Unit per minute (BTU/min), 1 BTU/min≈0.01757 kW.
- Applicable Envelope Volume: Recommended matching volume range of hot air balloon envelopes. Actual matching shall be adjusted according to flight altitude, ambient temperature and other factors.
